Welcome to the Amblemere website

With a love of golden retrievers spanning 31 years and fond memories of many of the oldies, the fun times, the ups and downs, the winnings and the inevitable loss of them, on these pages we hope to bring to life the Amblemere kennel.  The foundation bitch of the Amblemere's was Shargleam Bonnie Lass of Amblemere, being originally purchased from the late Pat Chapman from one of her first litters on returning to the UK.  Although very little shown herself, she produced Amblemere Andromeda, A. Aquarius, A. Mystique and A. Gold Image, all consistent winners in their own right. 

Grand children and other descendants followed in the same winning ways, namely Amblemere Chardonnay, A. Harlequin, A. Foxy Lady and A. Tamarisk  and A. Dancing Queen.  The latest great great great great grand daughter being born in June 2002, Amblemere My Fair Lady.

Once the show bug had bitten, life was never quite the same again.  With the arrival of Blakesley Camilla of Amblemere (litter sister to the late Blakesley Cromwell in Sweden), Nortonwood Snow Dancer of Amblemere and Kulawand Nordic Secret with Amblemere, the present stock emerges.
